FAQ

Do you recommend any photo locations?

Yes. We suggest locations based on your group composition.

• If you have young children, we recommend routes with minimal walking.
• If elderly family members are joining, gardens or temples are ideal.

Our local photographers know each area deeply and will propose locations that highlight the unique charm of the region and the beauty of the season. Please feel free to leave everything to us with confidence.
Of course, if you already have a specific place in mind, let us know in advance. We will create a shooting plan tailored to your wishes.

Is there a recommended time to avoid crowds?

Early morning shoots are highly recommended. Even very crowded locations after 10:00 AM (post hotel check-out time) can be photographed without people in the background in the early morning. The ideal time is between 6:00–8:00 AM.

I want to propose to my girlfriend. Where is the best place?

Popular proposal locations include Osaka Castle, Fushimi Inari Shrine, and Arashiyama. We have extensive experience with surprise proposal shoots.
The photographer will blend in like a tourist, carefully capturing the decisive moment without disturbing your private world. Please contact us in advance so we can plan the details together.

Do you recommend any kimono rental shops?

Yes. We recommend Okamoto and Okimono-ya. We will advise you on fitting times based on the number of participants.

What should we wear?

There are no strict dress rules. Please choose clothing that feels comfortable for you, while considering the season and
weather of the city where the shoot takes place. Comfortable, walkable shoes are highly recommended.
Please note that hair styling and makeup services are not included, so kindly prepare these before the shoot.

How many people can join the photo session?

Up to 25 people can participate in a 1-hour session.

Can we bring pets to the shoot?

Yes, pets are welcome as long as the location allows them.

My child can’t stay still—will that be a problem?

Not at all. We specialize in capturing children’s natural movements and expressions. Rather than forcing poses, we beautifully preserve joyful, playful moments through professional technique.

How do we meet the photographer?

The shooting location will be discussed with the photographer via email or WhatsApp in advance. You will meet the photographer directly at the agreed location. The session time starts counting from the scheduled start time.

What if we arrive late?

The photo session will be conducted only within the booked duration (60 or 120 minutes). If you arrive late, the delayed time will be deducted from your shooting time. If the session extends beyond the original booked time, additional fees may apply.

What happens if it rains?

We will check the weather forecast and contact you by the day before the shoot. Rescheduling is possible.

Can we choose a specific photographer?

We kindly ask for your understanding that we do not offer a photographer selection system. Photographers are assigned by our team based on availability and the schedule on the day of the shoot.
All photographers on our team are highly skilled and experienced, so regardless of who is assigned, you can expect a satisfying and professional photo session.

Is there any difference in photographer quality?

No, you can rest assured. At K.films, all photographers pass strict internal technical standards. Our shooting methods and editing guidelines are fully standardized, ensuring consistently high-quality results no matter which photographer is in charge.

What payment methods are available?

Online payment only, required by the day before the shoot. Cash payment on the day of the shoot is not accepted.

Are transportation or entrance fees included?

Transportation and accommodation costs are included. However, additional fees may apply if:
● The location is more than 1 hour away from the city center, or
● The location requires an entrance or admission fee (e.g., temples or gardens).

Is it possible to extend the photo session on the day?

Yes, same-day extensions are possible, subject to availability. Extensions are available in 30-minute increments, and the additional fee depends on your plan.
For example, for a group of 5 people, a 30-minute extension costs ¥9,000. Please note that online payment is not available on the day, so any extension fee must be paid in cash directly to the photographer.

When will we receive the photos?

All photos will be delivered within 48 hours after the shoot. The download link will remain available for 30 days.

What file format will the photos be in?

Photos are delivered in JPEG format (approximately 3–5MB per image). RAW files are not provided.

What kind of editing is included?

We provide basic editing such as color correction and exposure adjustment only. Advanced retouching (skin smoothing, body reshaping, etc.) is not included. We value a natural and authentic look.

Can you remove people from the background?

To preserve natural beauty, we do not offer advanced compositing such as removing people from photos. Instead, we use our professional experience to carefully plan shooting times and angles that minimize crowds, ensuring clean and natural images.

Will the final photo style be consistent?

Yes. All photos are edited by a dedicated editor, ensuring consistent quality and style.

Is there a backup of the photo data?

Yes. We securely store your photo data for 6 months, and re-downloads are available during this period.

Who owns the copyright to the photos?

You are free to use the photos for personal use. For commercial use, please contact us in advance.
